About Us

We are a refreshingly informal and friendly church, but there is a passion and life here that many find life-changing. As a group we are amazingly diverse, spanning age-groups, nationalities and social backgrounds. 

We are really keen on the Alpha Course, are members of the Evangelical Alliance, and work closely with other churches in our local area.

 Meet the Leadership Team..

Since 2000, Vince Turner, Pastor has led the congregation with his wife Clio. For the 5 years before that they were part of the leadership team of Ichthus City Gates, Soho. Since 1995 they have ministered yearly at Spring Harvest with Just Looking groups, and have a passion for those on the fringe of, or outside of church. Vince was formerly an Engineering Officer in the Royal Navy and left in 1993 to pursue full time ministry.

Clio is an inspirational preacher & leader in her own right and is full-time mum to 3 children.

John & Erika James helped plant the congregation in 1988, and have been ministering in Westminster ever since. John has an itinerant preaching ministry, and has a passion to see the fullness of the Holy Spirit released in local churches.

Erika has a wealth of experience in pastoral ministry and leads one of our Life Groups.

Peter Calderbank has also supported the church from the start. He is our Treasurer, a Life Group leader and lead sound man!

Peter is CEO for BSS and chairman of Westminster Children's Society

Jen Baker, who was with us from 2007 to 20011, has now left us to pursue her own ministry. Further details and contact details can be found at www.jenbaker.co.uk

 Colin Hardy is currently on an extended sabbatical, but is normally part of the leadership team. He was also one of the founding leaders of the church. He is an anointed worship leader and teaches worship on YWAM courses, as well as supervising worship at WCC.
